For our PBS team the caseload ranges from preschoolers right through to aged care (we even saw a beautiful lady who was 106 recently!). There is scope to develop clinical skills across a wide variety of clinical areas and ages with support from our senior team members along the way of course. For those who know which area they would like to specialise in - there is scope to specialise too!
You will be supported to work towards the following clinical load expectations:
First 3 weeks - build up to 3 hours per day (total of 15 hours per week)
Second 3 weeks - build up to 4 hours per day (total of 20 hours per week)
Next few weeks - build up to 5.5 hours per day (total of 27.5 hours per week)
We have built in time and support in our group supervision sessions for team members working on stepping up to become a proficient PBS practioner. Support every step of the way!
We also run in-house leadership development programs such as our 'Step up to be a senior' leadership development program, which we run once a year.
